Hi Michael,

Mainpine has been selling V.34 fax cards for the last 7 or 8 years.  V.34 is
based on a number of ITU-T standards and is widely deployed.  Last year we
had a high volume fax broadcast customer report that something like 40% of
the fax machines in the US were V.34 capable.

All of the fax modems I've looked at only go to v.17 (14k4) and yet there
has 
been fax machines sold for the past while (2 or 3 years?) that are claim to 
do 33k6 speed.

Is this a proprietory thing that only works when doing say Brother to
Brother 
communication, or is there a 33k6 fax standard?
If so, which modems will support this?
