Hi Marcos,

 

You are going to have real problems with your software modem... they really do not support fax very well.  If you are looking for a reliable solution then I would strongly suggest that you get yourself a decent hardware modem.  If reliability is not important (maybe you only wish to send/receive the occasional fax and don't mind multiple attempts) then post a log here with tracing set to 0xfff - maybe someone can help you get a little further.

Hi everybody,

i'm new with hylafax. i'm using debian 4.0 with 
hylafax 4.3.1-7 and a linmodem (SILICON Laboratories AC'97 Modem Controller) 
that uses slamr driver.
it works when i send fax to others fax machines, but 
i can't receive fax from a fax machine. the fax machine is ok, it's 
working.

the following is the log of my hylafax:

STATE CHANGE: RUNNING -> LISTENING

so, if someone could help me resolve this 
problem.
