You are correct.  However, that patch that I sent to you has already 
become part of HylaFAX+ 5.0.4, and so feel free to just use the HylaFAX+ 
5.0.4 tarball or RPM ... whichever works best for you.  If your existing 
installation is tarball then use tarball.  If it is RPM then use the 
RPM.  If it is neither of those then let me know.
