Lee, forgive my ignorance but I am not sure on how to apply this patch. I thought the procedure was to


1. download the tarball
2. extract the tarball
3. copy the patch to the tarball directory
4. issue the command
patch -p1 < hylafax-awaitsynctimeout.patch
5. ./configure;make;make install

Again please forgive the unix101 question. I should of submitted this to
my local SLUG list.



You are correct. However, that patch that I sent to you has already become part of HylaFAX+ 5.0.4, and so feel free to just use the HylaFAX+ 5.0.4 tarball or RPM ... whichever works best for you. If your existing installation is tarball then use tarball. If it is RPM then use the RPM. If it is neither of those then let me know.
