Hi Graham, You will probably have issues with vmware when HylaFAX tries to control the virtual modem. You should really consider running HylaFAX on a 'real' *nix system so that it can fully control the modem - the hardware requirements are modest and this will give you a much more reliable and robust solution. Just installed this vmware appliance. A couple of problems .... 1. it doesn't notify the faxmaster about incoming faxes ( I have FaxDispatch to send to FaxMaster) 2. the incoming recvq is made into a samba share ... but all the files are not world readable. Is there a way I can configure this to make the default permissions on the incoming faxes readable by all? Thanks. -- Graham Chiu ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx* ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
