Well, in this case, you could simply move them over to the Ubuntu box, and run a script there to pick them up and sendfax them to their ultimate destinations. If they're already in Postscript and the filenames are already the destination Fax numbers, I don't understand the point of not using *nix to accomplish the scripting -- it is its forte, after all -- and you already have a fax client there. On the other hand, if you're generating the Faxes from a Windows print driver, then printing to files is an oddly redundant step, when there are print monitors that will directly submit the resulting Postscript to HylaFAX without the need for a command line. > Not sure what you mean. > > The docs for faxing are being generated on the windows side ... > they're all postscript documents. > > The idea is to parse out the fax number from the file names, and then > somehow submit them to the Hylafax server using a script. ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
