Hej all, I got some unexpected troubles moving my hylafax service from one machine to another. I thought there should be no problems but surprisingly I got some.... First let me tell you that on both machines I run Debian Sarge as OS with latest updates. I also moved the modem (Elsa XY). The only thing that changed was the serial port, so I moved config.ttyS1 to config.ttyS0 on the target machine. I copied /etc/hylafax/* to the new machine and got errors 'file xy is newer...'. I solved that by copying those files to /var/spool/hylafax. Now the faxtomail does not work, the modem does not answer and the server supresses faxes received and sent older than 3 months. Besides solving each trouble one by one, is there an easy way to migrate from one machine to another???
