Andrew, thank you a lot. You have saved me and my madness.

Well I didn't choose to disable the distinctive ring feature of the modem,
but I heve prefered to add the following line to the config.ttyS0

RingFax: "RING A"

It's working fine !!!!

(I need to get every incoming call because I'm behind a PBX and distinctive
ring is not working here).
