edited /usr/share/fax/hfaxd.conf and changed;
LogFacility local5
You need a colon separating them:
LogFacility: local5
Problem B: ServerTracing and SessionTracing parameters ......................................................
There seem to be duplicates of these params in
/var/spool/fax/etc/config.ttyS0 and
/usr/share/fax/hfaxd.conf
Where do we change them? What values should we assign (for a class 1 modem) so that we can
info to troubleshoot ( like a -vv level )
hfaxd.conf refers to hfaxd configuration
/var/spool/hylafax/etc/config refers to faxq configuration
/var/spool/hylafax/etc/config.<devid> refers to modem configuration (faxsend, faxgetty, pagesend)
If you want verbose tracing of sessions you put:
SessionTracing: 0xFFF
in your modem config file and restart faxgetty for immediate application.
