[hylafax-users] Ring detected without successful handshake

HylaFax: 4.3.1
OS: Fedora Core 6
Modem: USR 56K Message Modem

Dear list

History: I was using Gentoo 2006 with HylaFax and the same modem.
Because of speed problems (300MHz computer) I'm using another
computer (1.3GHz) and also another OS (Fedora Core 6).

With gentoo I was able to receive faxes but with Fedora I get the
error message:

Ring detected without successful handshake

I'm trying to send a fax from the same source (same fax machine).

Any idea?
