Good. Glad you find a better way to write them in. Btw: if you want to restrict the forwarding from Faxmaster only, add this line just before the ^Subject rule:

* ^From.*faxmaster@domain

This should avoid a bounce of a wedged mail back to people if they accidentally reply to faxmaster.

Your right.
After checking again, I was getting them via an email alias forward rule not the procmail rule.
I had to disable the root redirect from the aliases file to make procmail work. I also had to make procmail handle all the forwarding.
This seems to work now:

* ^Subject:.*(ttyp6|ttyp7|ttyp8|ttyp9|ttypd|ttype|ttyp0|ttypf|ttyqb|ttyqc)

On my system, I have Faxmaster's mail sent to root then root's mail gets sent out to another external email. (set up in the email alias file.)
I have added a procmailrc file to the root home directory, which seems to work and send the mails to the appropriate people.

The only question I have now - which I realize is more a procmail syntax question,
but is there a better (neater) way of doing this?

I'm not sure how this would work.
Doesn't procmail process incoming mail? (not 100% sure about this)
I would need something to pre-process the outgoing mail.
