[hylafax-users] FaxNotify issue - tif and ps are ok, pdf it is not

Hi you all,

I'm running hylafax 4.2.1-2 on Mandriva 2006

I have 
metamail installed so mimencode (but also uuencode) are installed (I 
think that due to what I'll write later, they are not the issue)

While 
the Fax Dispatching in pdf format works fine and received faxes
are 
correctly emailed to me with a nice pdf copy of the received fax,
Fax 
Notifying in pdf format doesn't work.

But Fax Notifying works fine in 
tif and ps format.

I'm confused because I think that if FaxDispatch in 
pdf is working,
FaxNotify should work aswell...

Any idea about that?

My /var/spool/fax/etc (mandriva's path) FaxNotify file content is
simply

----FaxNotify----
RETURNFILETYPE=xxx;   #where xxx while 
testing has been replaced for testing by
'ps', 'tif' and 'pdf'
----End-
FaxNotify----

cases:

- ps, I've checked the ps file content with 
gsview32 and it is correct
- tif, I've checked the tif content with 
FM·Box fax viewer and it is
correct
- pdf, the attachment is created 
but it is an empty file (also opened with text editor, it is really an 
empty file)

Any idea about this issue?
