[hylafax-users] [OT] Some comments
HI,
I would like to make some comments about our last posts on the Hylafax
Users list.
Our company fight since 8 years to introduce and promotes the OpenSource
apps in the corporates areas in France as some others company, and we
have no more support and help other than the collaborative Usenet
NewsGroups.
Perhaps in my last experience it cost me less money to supply to my
customer a Commercial Fax solution other than Hylafax and Multi-Tech
hardware.
But we continue to believe to OpenSource. If you, contributors,
developers, single users, you want OpenSource solution become real
stable, competitive and attractive to promote in corporates areas for
us, small company against Microsoft and other, WE must help ourself
instead of flames messages.
There is in France more and more company who stop to work with the
OpenSource apps because the small company haven't developers to resolve
the kind of problems as we have and it's not possible to make tests and
failed try in the customer office, because the manager says "No more
OpenSource or no-commercial products, thanks !"
For the moment we stop to supply Hylafax Fax App until we find a stable
and easy-to-install setup (hardware) and we had to forget the remote
administration with the Multi-Tech ZPX card to keep Fax-only system for
our customer.
Thanks for your attention and sorry for my english.
Sam
