My config: Hylafax latest, IAXModem 0.1.7 to Asterisk 1.0.9 - fax server and Asterisk are connected w/ crossover cable in private subnet, TXQUEUELEN bumped up to 2000 from default 1000, 100baseT full duplex. Asterisk dials out on a PRI (Digium Te110P) connected to an Atlas 550, which in turn is connected to the PSTN. No frame slips, TX fax to any fax on PSTN is OK. My problem: Sending fax thru HylaFax to any PSTN connected fax is fine. But, sending a fax from Hylafax via IAXmodem, out to the PSTN, and back to itself like this: Hylafax ---> IAXmodem ----> Asterisk ----> Atlas ----> PSTN ----> Atlas ----> Asterisk ----> IAXmodem ----> Hylafax yields an error like this: Jun 05 12:28:25.87: [15058]: <-- [9:AT+FRH=3\r] Jun 05 12:28:29.49: [15058]: --> [7:CONNECT] Jun 05 12:28:31.03: [15058]: --> [8:D2 D3 3C 7B 50 8D 10 03] Jun 05 12:28:31.03: [15058]: --> [5:ERROR] Jun 05 12:28:31.03: [15058]: MODEM Command error Jun 05 12:28:31.03: [15058]: FCS error Jun 05 12:28:31.03: [15058]: <-- [9:AT+FRS=7\r] Jun 05 12:28:31.49: [15058]: --> [2:OK] Jun 05 12:28:31.49: [15058]: <-- [9:AT+FTH=3\r] Jun 05 12:28:31.51: [15058]: --> [7:CONNECT] Jun 05 12:28:31.51: [15058]: <-- HDLC<3:FF C8 58> Jun 05 12:28:32.99: [15058]: --> [2:OK] Jun 05 12:28:32.99: [15058]: RECV send CRP (command repeat) Jun 05 12:28:32.99: [15058]: <-- [9:AT+FRH=3\r] Jun 05 12:28:36.23: [15058]: --> [7:CONNECT] Jun 05 12:28:36.33: [15058]: --> [5:A6 42 C9 10 03] Jun 05 12:28:36.33: [15058]: --> [5:ERROR] Jun 05 12:28:36.33: [15058]: MODEM Command error Jun 05 12:28:36.33: [15058]: FCS error Jun 05 12:28:36.33: [15058]: <-- [9:AT+FRS=7\r] Jun 05 12:29:06.33: [15058]: MODEM TIMEOUT: reading line from modem Jun 05 12:29:06.33: [15058]: MODEM <Timeout> Jun 05 12:29:06.33: [15058]: RECV keeping unconfirmed page Jun 05 12:29:06.33: [15058]: RECV: 256 bytes of data, 13 total lines Jun 05 12:29:06.33: [15058]: MODEM set XON/XOFF/DRAIN: input ignored, output disabled Jun 05 12:29:06.34: [15058]: RECV FAX (000000392): from Landmark Group, page 1 in 0:53, INF, 7.7 line/mm, 2-D MMR, 9600 bit/s Jun 05 12:29:06.34: [15058]: RECV FAX (000000392): recvq/fax000000332.tif from Landmark Group, route to <unspecified>, 1 pages in 0:53 Jun 05 12:29:06.34: [15058]: RECV FAX: T.30 T2 timeout, expected signal not received Jun 05 12:29:06.34: [15058]: <-- [9:AT+FTH=3\r] Jun 05 12:29:06.35: [15058]: --> [2:OK] Jun 05 12:29:06.35: [15058]: MODEM input buffering enabled Jun 05 12:29:06.35: [15058]: RECV FAX (000000392): session with Landmark Group terminated abnormally: T.30 T2 timeout, expected signal not received Jun 05 12:29:06.35: [15058]: RECV FAX: bin/faxrcvd "recvq/fax000000332.tif" "ttyIAX8247" "000000392" "T.30 T2 timeout, expected signal not received" Jun 05 12:29:06.35: [15058]: RECV FAX: end Jun 05 12:29:06.35: [15058]: SESSION END Is the call route too Byzantine for IAXModem to handle? tia ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
