Hello,

I am not a new user (for Linux and hylafax question)
but it is the first time i use this mailinglist.

I have a analogic voice line and im using it for fax sending.
The OS is the latest DEBIAN stable version (sarge), with latestù
stable version of hylafax (4.2.1-5).

The identification string of my external faxmodem (con COM1 port) is:

                MODEM AGERE OCM V.92 VER2.7A (JUN 14 2004)
                VOICE MERCURY DP2SH MODE-II SERIAL

It is class1 only. It is new.

==PROBLEM:

In the most case the send is OK.

I have problem with a window-base fax server machine using a
3COM SPORTSTER 56k faxmodem. The problem is it: sending to it
is ok, the log is ok, the fax at the remote side show many
scanline missed.

If i use the -M option (sendfax ecc.) the problem is less and it is so many less if i increase the -M argument but also using -M 40ms some scanline are missed. This is only with this telno[fax server windows + 3com sportster], if a send on other destination at now have no problem (but it is not so big the number of possible test... if the server goes not on production there are only litte tests possibile; i send not the server at production state if i can not resolve this issue).

Please help me, sorry for my bad english.
