[hylafax-users] JBIG works / HylaFax can't see it

Hello,

I'm am using OS X 10.4 and DarwinPorts.  I have JBIGKIT installed (from
DP) and I've managed to patch the DarwinPorts ports of libtiff 3.8 for
JBIG and JPEG but HylaFax still cannot see them.  I have converted the
3-page jbig.tif file here:

into a PDF with no errors using tiff2pdf and it looks great.  I assume
that constitutes a good test of JBIG support in tiff.  Correct?

But I still get:

Checking for JBIG library support
... not found. Disabling JBIG support

I am installing HylaFax as a DarwinPorts port also so my jbig.h file is in
/opt/local/include and I'm using these compiler flags, but no luck.

CFLAGS="-I$/opt/local/include" \
CPPFLAGS="-I$/opt/local/include" \
LDFLAGS="-L$/opt/local/lib"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  And others would appreciate a
DarwinPort of HylaFax I'm sure if I can get JBIG enabled and finish the
port.
