[hylafax-users] ISI5634UPCI/4 on RHEL AS 3 Update 4

Just purchased ISI5634UPCI/4 of MultiTech Systems.
Plan to use it on RHEL AS 3.0 Update 4
(2.4.21-27.ELsmp) with HylaFax 4.2.0 to replace two
internal Fax Modems. 
According to the quick guide, a linux driver needs to
be
installed. 
Is it necessary to install the driver on RHEL AS 3.0
Update 4 or just use ttySx created by OS ?
