Re: [hylafax-users] Multitech MT5634ZPX-PCI-U RECV FAX: No answer (T.30 T1 timeout)

The problem is that I do not know who the sender is. Any way I can find
out by means of any server logs?

The "MODEM Empty line" occurse because the modem isn't able to detect a
V.21 HDLC carrier for 7 seconds after the AT+FRH=3 command. At that
point CAN is sent to the modem to cancel... and apparently the modem
responds to that with 4 bytes... first the two mystery bytes, and then
OK. The two mystery bytes are probably <DLE><ETX> or <CR><LF> and in
either case this would be normal. They are "mystery" bytes probably
because they're coming through in my mail reader in an odd fashion.

If the sender is for certain a fax machine then MultiTech may be
interested in hearing from you.

Lee.
