[hylafax-users] Faxgetty cause kernel segfault
Hi
While running on Class 1, I always got kernel segfault when answering the coming fax,
Jan 29 22:35:26 [FaxGetty] ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION DEVICE '/dev/ttyS1'
Jan 29 22:35:32 [kernel] faxgetty[19603]: segfault at 0000000000000004 rip
00002aaaaac06669 rsp 00007fffffe4c440 error 4
Jan 29 22:35:32 [FaxGetty] OPEN /dev/ttyS1 HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.2.3
Jan 29 22:35:32 [FaxGetty] /dev/ttyS1: Can not lock device.
Anyway, running on Class 2.0 is OK without problem except sometimes "unspecified C phase
error". That's why I need to change to Class 1 to see if everything working fine. Can
anybody help me what's problem on Class 1 ? Thanks!
My system: Gentoo Linux 2.6.12 (AMD64, 64bit)
Hylafax: V.4.2.3
Modem: Zyxel Omni 56K Smart
Config: Use faxaddmodem to generate, all in default values
BR, Dominic
