It was a one-line change (well, plus comments). | | http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/hylafax/hylafax/util/faxrcvd.sh.in?r1=1.2&r2=1.3 | | On your command-line please try this: | | echo Bob\'s Towing | sed -e "s/'/'\\\\\''/g" | | You should get this: | | Bob'\''s Towing Yes, that sed commands here behaves as you show. And I did note it was the only change in the script, and cannot fathom why it impedes delivery to the desired user. | >And 'faxstat -r' has strange listings: | > | >-rw-r-- 4 5 0qIPCO TRANSPO 17:26 fax000001328.tif | >-rw-r-- 2 5 0qLDEN CARRIER 17:31 fax000001329.tif | > | >Those sender names are in reality SHIPCO TRANSPORT and GOLDEN CARRIERS. | > | > | | Take a look at the RcvFmt entry in your hfaxd.conf. It looks to me like | you have one field on-top of another. The default RcvFmt that comes | with the tarball installation is: | | RcvFmt: "%-7m %4p%1z %-8.8o %14.14s %7t %f" | | The instructions on its formatting is in 'man hfaxd'. Looks to me like | you have something between the "o" and the "s" entries in the default. I have that default format, no change. | How did you do your 4.2.4 installation? This is on SCO OpenServer 6.0.0. I configured to compile with /bin/cc and /bin/CC, and disabling the use of the jbig library, then just did the usual make and make install. -- JP ==> http://www.frappr.com/cusm <== ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
