Re: [hylafax-users] "Failure to raise V.21 transmission carrier."

I've got a fax I'm trying to receive and on the 11th page transmission
is stopped. When I go into the log file, I get this message:

"Failure to raise V.21 transmission carrier."

What exactly does this mean?

It exactly means that when HylaFAX told the modem AT+FTH=3 the modem responded with something other than CONNECT and that's what it feels the point-of-failure was.
