If you have a PABX connected to your T1/PRI then that should be able to do
the DID to DTMF conversion for you.  If this is your setup then probably the
easiest thing to try is using minicom to test your setup before using
HylaFAX.  This will allow you to test the delivery of DTMF digits by issuing
AT commands to the modem.

I may be mistaken here, but DID will only work with a T1 or a PRI.  
Regular analog POTS lines do not send DID information. You can route the
faxes based on incming callerID or by which phone line the call came in on
(you would route by device in that case)
