[hylafax-users] Installation problem on OS X 10.3

Hi,

I'm trying to use Hylafax 4.2.3 on Mac OS X 10.3.9 "client".  I was 
able to compile/install the software, but it's the 'chpass' part who is 
giving me a headache :

elvis:~/temp/hylafax-4.2.3 root# chpass -a 
"uucp:*:93:66::0:0:uucp:/var/spool/uucp:"
chpass: -a is only supported for /etc/master.passwd
chpass: rebuilding the database...
pwd_mkdb: corrupted entry
pwd_mkdb: at line #1
pwd_mkdb: /etc/pw.tDdk0l: Inappropriate file type or format
chpass: /etc/master.passwd: unchanged

The UID and GID are correct, and I also created the account in NetInfo 
Manager.

BTW : the instructions here : 
http://www.hylafax.org/howto/misc/installnotes.php#OSX, should be 
updated.  libtiff is not installed by default on OS X 10.3, and I also 
had to install GhostScript with libjpeg.
