The service is ok, and I've already tested. I proceed with the
following test:
- Call to the modem, with the console in minicom.
- After the second ring, I've typed the AT#CID=1, and it returns ok.
- The modem answered the call, but again I have no Caller ID.
I was checking the file /var/log/messages and /var/spool/hylafax/log/,
where I supose the Caller ID should apear.
I'm about to give up. Any magical trick?
Thanks in advance,
Ricardo Albuquerque

You see RING, RING, RING after AT#CID=1 and then OK, but no Caller*ID
stuff? Do you have Caller*ID service from your telephone company?
Lee.
