Re: [hylafax-users] Enabling call identification
Hi Lee, thanks for the help.
I've sent the the AT#SID=1 to the modem using minicom as you suggested, the
modem returns a OK. But no Caller ID apears when the subsequent call cames
in.
This feature is very important for me. Do you have any sugestion about this
problem? Do you think I should use another modem?
There is anybory using this feature? What's modem's model do you think I
should use?
Thanks in advance,
Ricardo Albuquerque

Hi all
I'm trying to enable the call identification feature in my modem, in
order to make decisions of routing based on this information. I'm added
the following line at the end of the file
/var/spool/hylafax/etc/config.ttyS1:
ModemResetCmds: AT#CID=1
CIDNumber: "CID: "
If you send this command to the modem in minicom does any Caller*ID show
up when a subsequent call comes in?
Lee.
