Thanks for the update, and good news on the rebranding.

As you and Lee are sorting through the various scenarios, please consider sticking with a single bug tracker and CVS respository. For instance, perhaps your project could have its own branch of cvs, that occasionally gets merged into HEAD? That branch could have any policies/procedures you deemed appropriate, and it would only have to go through the democratic process of wider peer review when getting merged into HEAD in preparation for release? The appropriate components could be added to bugzilla so that bugs that are specific to your reelases could be categorized as such.
