Re: [hylafax-users] No Incoming calls

Albert,

To see what's going on at the ISDN level, run:

/usr/lib/eicon/divas/xlog

You should also watch the asterisk console. In Asterisk, try something like:

pri debug span 1 (or whatever span you need to look at)

That should help you get to the bottom of who's rejecting calls and why.

Subject: [hylafax-users] No Incoming calls

Trying to solve my outbound problem is put to a halt as it seems I have a bigger inbound issue. No faxes are coming in. when trying to dial in to the numbers (from a different pstn) i always get a busy signal, same as the rest of the world, but if I send myself a fax (to my DID specifically) or to any other account of hylfax - it goes through. And I can see 2 ports of my 8port Eicon Diva modem talking to each other (one is receiving and the other is sending).

Im connected to an Asterisk system and i'm thinking that could be the problem. cause the modems all say they are idle, and they do seem idle, but no calls are going through (except for outbound, people have no problem sending faxes). how do i know if it's hylafax acting up, or the card and not asterisk? do i need more ports or is something keeping the card from accepting any calls...

thanks for any clues
