What is 1234567?

Set ServerTracing in your modem config file to 0xFFF and restart faxgetty.

Then call your modem.  When it answers dial 1234.  Then look in the 
FaxGetty entries in your server log (/var/log/messages ?).  You should 
see the answer, and you *should* see the DTMF digits show up there.

Send the relevant FaxGetty logs, should this not aid you more.
