[hylafax-users] Adding a new fax device without faxaddmodem

So -- faxaddmodem is well and fine, but I have cause to add a modem without it:

- faxaddmodem is interactive-only; I need something more scriptable.
- I don't need all its functionality -- for instance, config.cache and config.modem already exist, as I'm using a SuSE-specific package (I built) which provides copies in the package.
- I'd like to better understand how this whole thing works.

Given these things, I'm basically creating a new modem via this method:

- create etc/config.<device>
- Create FIFO.<device>
- Run "faxmodem <device>"

These things done, faxq logs "FaxQueuer[13891]: MODEM ttyS4: READY, capabilities Pc87fcf01" -- but "faxstat" doesn't report ttyS4's existance as I expect it to (and as it does on a faxaddmodem-configured system)
