Re: [hylafax-users] Modem Init problem
Does your rc.sysinit call on /etc/rc.serial? If it does, and if
/etc/rc.serial does not exist, then create it with these lines:
modprobe lt_modem
modprobe lt_serial

goodness, that looks more like a script than a init file.. the two
files i need to load are 'lt_modem.ko' and 'lt_serial.ko'. They are
not in the etc directory, but somewhere else. I can move them; but
where in this rc.sysinit do i add a line? I can't see anywhere were it
says anything about the modem init..

So, where can I put the insmod commands so that they start up before
faxgetty?
On my RedHat/Fedora installs, /etc/rc.serial which is called by
/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit.
