Dear Giulio, Finally I can send faxes without any problem using textfmt and Ghostscript 8.11. Here It is the solution that can help some other users with my problem: Slackware 10.1 Hylafax 4.2.1 Ghostscript 8.11 Ghostscript AFM fonts 8.11 1) Download ghostscript 8.11 sources ./configure with default options make && make install 2) Download ghostscript 8.11 AFM fonts untar them and place the dir fonts/ into /usr/local/share/ghostscript/fonts export the variable GS_FONTPATH=$GS_FONTPATH:/usr/local/share/ghostscript/fonts 3) Download hylafax4.2.1 sources ./configure with default options make && make install and everything should be ok!
