The short explanation to what happened is that the image wasn't received
with sufficient quality and so HylaFAX rejected it with the RTN signal;
however, the sender doesn't recognize RTN as meaning "send it again" (at
least in the same session). So the sender disconnected. Maybe it
disconnected to call again and resend. Maybe it didn't...
But, if you're seeing a lot of these problems from various senders then
chances are good that something is wrong with your fax line. 86%
receive quality is rather poor.
I assume that you haven't disabled ECM? ECM would likely be able to
compensate for a fair amount of line noise, but the sender has to choose
to use it.
