Re: [hylafax-users] MultiModemISI

Yes, we have one of these.

It works well enough using Hylafax 4.1.5 on Red Hat ES3 (kernel 2.4.21),
using the driver 3.09 from Multitech.

I have it receiving faxes on Hylafax 4.2.1 on Red Hat ES4 (kernel 2.6.9),
but I had to build the driver module separately.
I used the generic kernel driver, with a slight modification to get the driver to install.

SENDING faxes with Hylafax 4.2.1 on a 2.6.x series kernel is giving me problems,
some of which I solved by adding the following to /var/spool/hylafax/etc/config:

Use2D: No

I'm still investigating whether the problems are due to Hylafax 4.2.1 or
the kernel driver, but I suspect it's hylafax.

	George Hansper

Any one using one of these with hylafax?

Yes, I'm sure there are many of us.

Looking into setting one up to
add four lines to my fax server. Just wanted to see if any one has
experience with it, or if I should look for something else.

They work well for me.
