[hylafax-users] Can't receive 1-D
I had a system running hylafax (a version a couple of years old, I
don't remember the version number) under Redhat 8 with a Hayes Accura
28800 modem. The system was used to receive faxes only, and worked
fine.
I replaced the Redhat 8 system with an Apple XServer running MacOS X
Server 10.3 and hylafax 4.2.1, keeping the same modem and modem config
file. Now the system can't receive faxes using 1-D MH or 1-D MR. The
receive process completes normally, but the resulting tiff file is
corrupt. 2-D MR and 2-D MMR work fine.
If I try creating a new modem config file by letting faxaddmodem
autoprobe, the resulting file doesn't work for receiving at all.
I'm at a complete loss as to how to fix this. Does anyone have any
ideas? Below is a log file from a failed receive and the modem config
file.
Thanks
- Jason
