[hylafax-users] failed sent

I am running HylaFax 4.1.8 (RedHat 9)  and 4.2.1 (RHEL AS 3 )
I am wondering what happends to those faxes sent failed ?   
Are they recorded in any log files ?
Could they are kept ?
