HylaFAX The world's most advanced open source fax server |
Hi all,
I
have just tried access via FTP and Samba to see the tif or pdf
files. For FTP, I can' t direct open the tif/pdf files, and I tried to
access the recvq folder, a strange thing is evoked. I see all tif/pdf files are
named
"-rw-rw- 1 14
+[Fax Number] HH:MM fax0000000XX.tif" (same case for pdf
files)
(So, I guest this is the reason why can't open the file by FTP
service.)
For Samba access, files in recvq are no problems, and can be opened
successfully.

Hi
all, I' m newbie in using hylafax, there'
re no problem in sending fax. However, the received fax (TIF) cannot be opened
in Windows, but it can be opened in the hylafax server itself by GIMP in
Gnome. So I tried to change the FileType to PDF and PS, the PDF format
file also cannot be opened, but the PS file can be converted to PDF
file and opened successfuly. The log files are all seems normal
and no errors. Here are the configure
