> However, most of the posts on > hylafax-devel are CVS commit notifications and discussions regarding > releases, etc. After Dmitry became uninvolved the -devel archives are > mostly not useful as a knowledge base regarding HylaFAX or faxing. I'd like to offer an alternative way of looking at that, if I may. A few points to consider: 1. the hylafax-devel mailing list _has_ discussed a great deal of technical, procedural, and political issues since Dmitry's departure several years ago. 2. Commits to cvs are reflected to the list, so subscribers are in touch with development 3. Most bugzilla postings are sent to hylafax-devel, unless the poster tries hard to prevent this. Since everyone's been encouraged for quite some time to keep the technical discussions within bugzilla, that means that most of the meaty stuff also finds its way to the -devel mailing list. In other words, if you want to follow development (or better yet participate in it) it's a good list to be on. I'll look into the lack of archiving, and see if we can't remedy that ASAP. -Darren -- Darren Nickerson Senior Sales & Support Engineer iFax Solutions, Inc. www.ifax.com darren.nickerson@xxxxxxxx +1.215.438.4638 x8106 +1.215.243.8335 (fax) ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
