Did the sender call back and retransmit that page and the following 
ones?

Many senders, upon receiving RTN (means that we want them to retransmit 
the page), will disconnect (DCN) and then call back rather than just 
returning to phase B and retraining.

If you really (and I mean *really*) want to know a lot about weird 
things that fax machines do with the RTN signal, then search the 
archives (including -devel) for discussions about RTN between Dmitry 
Bely and Harald Pollack.  Ultimately I've concluded that fax machines 
will treat RTN in any way they feel like it, and we have to just 
tolerate their disregard for the specification.

Now, if the sender didn't call back, then do you know why?  If the 
sender did call back but didn't resend the corrupted page, then there 
is a problem that needs to be addressed.
