The date and timestamps are done in accordance with the TIFF spec, I
believe. So there's not some configurable way to change this,
unfortunately.
+ accented characters (àèìòù and so on) are not correctly escaped in
faxcover generation, so strange character are printed.
I've googled and searched in bts and list archive for these problems,
but found nothing.
I'm not sure how relevant these are, but look at:
