Re: [hylafax-users] Ring detect without successful handshake



This pretty much concludes that there is a firmware/hardware problem with the modem which prevents it from detecting the remote carrier.

Unless you can increase the sensitivity or gain somehow, I don't think that there's anything you can do except for turning to the manufacturer for a fix or to get a different modem.
