Thanks for the favorable review! We just love this little client to death here ;-) HylaFSP is a lightweight, send-only client. It never actually checks in with the HylaFAX server to see jobs that were sent, it simply shows you your local 'sent faxes' folder. The only client/server stuff going on is during job submission. That's why you see what you see. The glory of HylaFSP is how simple and lightweight it is. If you want to do more complicated things like manage the queue, interact with the server realtime, look at received faxes using hfaxd (analogous to faxstat -d) you need a more heavyweight client like Cypheus or WHFC, not HylaFSP. If you just want to have 'set and forget' sending, beautifully integrated with Microsoft, well then HylaFSP is for you. The delayed jobs 'feature' is, unfortunately, the way Microsoft implemented the delay. They cannot assume that all fax service providers (which is what HylaFSP is) will implement a delay, I guess. It's local, not done on the server like you would do with 'sendfax -a'. It doesn't work well if you turn your computer off at night!!! -Darren -- Darren Nickerson Senior Sales & Support Engineer iFax Solutions, Inc. www.ifax.com darren.nickerson@xxxxxxxx +1.215.438.4638 +1.215.243.8335 (fax) ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
