As Hugh's message said, hylafax cannot fax MS Word attachements.  They 
must be converted into PS or PDF for hylafax to process them.  Generally 
speaking if you're using a windows hylafax client the client will use a 
print driver to convert the docuement into PS.

Therefore if you want to fax MS Word documents from MS Word, you will 
have to correctly setup your client.  What client are you using?
