I'm having some trouble with faxspool. I have 2 accounts on my system that both hylafax and mgetty use fax:x:10:14:added by portage for mgetty:/var/spool/fax:/bin/false uucp:x:10:14:uucp:/var/spool/uucppublic:/bin/false I run: faxspool -n 5551212 /etc/passwd and I get the following faxq-helper: must be set-uid 'fax' can't create new job directory, give up here's the owner of my faxq-helper file -rwx--x--x 1 uucp root 16768 Feb 24 20:25 faxq-helper Since fax and uucp have the same UID I can't seem to find a reason for a problem. I've tried changing the fax uid to a separate uid to create nothing but problems. Any help would be appreciated. -- Keith ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxxxxx*
