[hylafax-users] Freeware problem report

We have been using succesfully Hylafax V4.0pl1 on Indy and O2 IRIX 6.5.17f.

After upgrading to IRIX 6.5.21f if a receiving FAX was more than 1 page a 2GB file with just the 1st page and some strange stuff were written. We tried to move to Origin 200 with the same results.

So we upgraded to SGI Freeware new release, 4.1.2.

With 4.1.2 either on Origin 200 IRIX 6.5.22 or on O2 IRIX 6.5.21f we have no way to ither send or receive a fax: as soon as the modem completes the dialogue with the fax and starts reading or writing the file the programe exits with status 0xa. Last logged line is SEND begin page (or RECV).

Your facsimile job to 051578337 failed because:
    Send program terminated abnormally with exit status 0xa

We tuned carefully the package, as using 2D and 14400 let the system end the job due to a EMPTY LINE from MODEM as a reply to AT+FRH=3 with consequent repeated training, as well as using xonxoff on the receiving side cause the software to end with a T.30 T1 timeout.

We tested Class1 and Class2.0 with the same results (empty line when transmitting with a high speed, timeout when receiving at high speed xonxoff and exit code 0xa when tuned properly).

Is anyone using Hylavax on SGI?
Is anyone able to deliver new 4.1.8 binaries for SGI?

I will be really happy to receive such a Xmas present...
