[hylafax-users] vertically flattened faxes

Hiya

I have the same problem as reported in this faq entry:

However all viewers I use like display and xview show a flattened fax,
ghfaxviewer displays it perfectly.  In windows the tiffs are also flattened.

I use the convert(1) programme to render multiple jpg's of a multipage fax tif
and these are also vertically compressed.

any ideas?
