Hi Ok, I am pretty sure that this is outside the scope of this list - but seing as there are a number of fax experts here and it is related..... Using hylafax it is possible to route inbound faxes directly to email addresses given a phone system that passes on the number that was dialled. Fair enough. But is there any way of getting it to take an incomming call - detect if there is a fax tone. If not then issue a command to the pbx to transfer that call to the actual extension? This may be completely impossible. But it would be nice to just have ONE DDI number and the system work out if the incoming call is fax or voice and route it accordingly.
