Read HylaFAQ for the question "I want outbound only" and/or search in the mailling lists 3. Read man hylafax-config (in your case the FreeBSD equivalent for man). There you will find the tag wich disable the modem reception. A good option is storing the tag and the correct value in the config.ttyXX modem file. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
