Aidan, 

That's actually the same approach I've been making with my module to
interact with the server via the FTP like area. I only started writing
one to use sendfax due to need. I'll end up I'm sure needing critique
and suggestions. How did you end up interfacing with your module? Was it
in web page form, or a smbfax like network printer?
