[hylafax-users] error: No local dial tone - hylafax with 2 modem configuration

Hi,

I added X3 to the modemresetcmds but the resul is the same.
I think that my problem comes from the configuration I have:

My Hylafax server has 2 modems.
The one on ttyS0 is configured as SEND-ONLY using RingsBeforeAnswer: 0 in config.ttyS0
The other one on ttyS1 is configured as RECEIVE-ONLY using ModemReadyState: D in config.ttyS1.

It seems to me that the problem is that Hylafax tryes to send out a fax using the one of the 2 modems and if
it happens to be ttS1 (which is configured as RECEIVE ONLY) then in xferfaxlog will be generated entry:
"no local dial tone"

Is there another way to disable sending-out faxes through a particular modem
(to configure the modem as receive-only) in such a way so Hylafax won't check it at all
when a fax have to be submited and no error message will be logged into xferfaxlog.

you should add X3 to the modemresetcmds or the dialstring (ATX3dt%s).
This way the modem won't look for a dial tone.

In the xferfaxlog almost for every fax job I have messages
"No local dial tone" and "No carrier detected".
But usually after 2 or 3 retries fax is successfuly transmited.

What can be the cause for such error mesage to appear?
	Anyone having the same problem?

Thanks for the help in advance!
