Re: [hylafax-users] Debian upgrade broke Hylafax - followup withlog files
Ok, I bet this is related, though I am not 100% sure what it is looking
for.
From /var/log/hylafax/hylafax.log:
Jul 9 14:41:25 juicer HylaFAX[26669]: Unable to open the user access
file /etc/hosts.hfaxd: Permission denied
Jul 9 14:41:25 juicer HylaFAX[26669]: HylaFAX LOGIN REFUSED (user
denied) FROM juicer [127.0.0.1], root
The hfaxd daemon is running as the uucp user, and the file
/etc/hylafax/hosts.hfaxd (whole directory is softlinked to
/var/spool/hylafax/etc/) is chmod 600 and owned by uucp. Very confusing,
that is.
