[hylafax-users] Can't send or receive faxes

Hi Everyone,
I am a newbie to Hylafax and need help on using it to send or receive faxes.
I installed Hylafax in my home pc and ran faxgetty and also started
/etc/rc.d/init.d/hylafax but when I do a command line fax using sendfax, the
fax did not go through and when I read the file in /var/spool/mail/root, it
says:
"program terminated abnormally, unable to exec faxsend"

And when I try to use a fax machine to send to Hylafax, when I do a
"faxstat", it tells me that Hylafax is receiving fascimile and I do see a tiff
file in the directory /var/spool/hylafax/rcvd, however, after a while the file
disappears from the /var/spool/hylafax/rcvd directory and when I do a
"faxstat", it says the modem in the idle mode. What happened to the fax
received? did it or did it not receive the fax? This is very puzzling.
I have tried looking at the files but don't know where to start.

Can someone please tell me what is wrong and what I can do to send and
receive faxes? I am using a class 1 external modem.
Please help me. All help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Best regards
Matthew
